I joined our CEO as we theorized how to fix the status quo of broken digital content networks, realigning the stakeholders to put creators first. Cash and other legacy methods could not solve this problem. We needed to invent a new cryptocurrency, RAE. Shortly thereafter, we hit the road raising money and made it a reality. Starting in 2015, I became obsessed and spent two years learning everything I could. We moved to Austin, Texas, to catch the tailwind.My Poker Foundation ➡️ Prior to all of this, I found myself 20 years old and winning at the highest poker stakes in the world from my dorm room. While attending Notre Dame, the cold climate of South Bend, Indiana, led members of my dorm to start a regular poker game as a hobby. The strategic elements of a game with incomplete information, mathematical fundamentals, and game theory components mixed with the human emotional elements were captivating. This challenge invoked my passion to a new level and laid the ground work for my work since.My passion introduced me to online poker in 2004. With a few hundred dollars and an immense amount of student debt, I began a journey; by 2007, I had graduated with a degree in finance, gained financial freedom, and was regarded as one of the top players in the world, regularly playing the highest stakes offered online and producing exclusive high-stakes poker instructional videos for the worldwide leader at that time, Cardrunners.My vast poker journey was a great instructor—from college dorm to experiencing first-hand crony US regulatory policy (UIGEA), which pushed my future wife and me abroad on a six-year adventure ranging from Panama to Prague and 30+ countries.
