I am a passionate mechanical engineer with experience in industrial and medical robotics; I am a self-starter with years of involvement in both early product development as well as production. Growing up in the Bay Area, I discovered my propensity towards engineering at an early age. My passion for the sciences was kicked off in high school, with my involvement in a competition known as F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Competition. I enjoyed the intense competition environment and was able to build the foundation for my skills in engineering. I went on to obtain my BSME from UC Irvine. During college, I had a scattering of different internships that spanned the industries of medical devices, electric vehicles, and robitics. On the side, I picked up small jobs for machined parts which I would make at the TechShop. I spent the three years following college as a mechanical engineer at Dishcraft Robotics, where we were developing a full robotic system for cleaning and processing dishes in high volume kitchens. I currently work as a mechanical engineer at Johnson & Johnson as a subsystem owner of a portion of their surgical robotic system.On the side, I like diving into big ambitious projects where I can get my hands dirty. More recently, I’ve built an off road buggy and a giant chandelier.
