Project: Project Manager for Stay-in-Business projects for a gas plant in South West Victoria.Role/Focus: Led a team of 6 engineers and project controls personnel to complete a portfolio of feasibility studies across a number of projects.Project: Engineering specialist for a due diligence review of a gas plant in central Australia.Role/Focus: Reviewed the technical and operational aspects of a gas plant in central Australia for a client seeking to purchase a significant share of the assets. Project: Development of internal project management systems.Role/Focus: Provided a new way of managing proposals and transitioning those through to projects using an innovative relational database.

thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (tkIS) is a modern engineering organization providing services for engineering, procurement and construction. It closed its Melbourne office in 2019.ResponsibilitiesDelivered multiple project scopes to budget and schedules. Liaised and worked with multiple clients to define project success, costing, and management of resources to deliver scope and meet client expectations. Key ProjectsProject: Project Manager for the feasibility and FEED phases of a major plant upgrade for a chemical facility in North Queensland.Role/Focus: Led the feasibility study to define strategic options to increase plant throughput from $30m Brownfields modifications to new $100m Greenfield units. Led a multi-disciplinary team during the FEED phase of the $30m project including engineers, designers, and project control specialists to engineer the new equipment and modifications to the existing facility.Project: Project Engineer Manager for a FEED study for a new compressor and plant debottlenecking of a gas plant in South West Victoria.Role/Focus: Led a multi-disciplinary team of 20 engineers to design a number of scope modifications to the facility with a TIC of $80m. The project has subsequently moved into detailed design. Project: Project Manager for Stay-in-Business projects for a gas plant in South West Victoria.Role/Focus: Led a team of 12 engineers and project controls personnel to complete the FEED and detailed design of a number of projects with a total capital value of $20M.

Role/Focus: I led a team of 30 engineers and business development personnel across both Australia and India to complete the submission of the proposal, which was subsequently awarded to thyssenkrupp.

Key ProjectsProject: Engineering Manager on a $105M Origin HBWS upgrade project.Role/Focus: Completed modifications to the Otway Gas Plant, installation of a 33km pipeline and new well site facilities. Led the multi-disciplinary engineering team for detailed engineering and construction phases of the project. Coordinated the interface with the procurement, construction, commissioning, and hand-over teams. Project: Deputy Project Engineering Manager for the detailed design phase of a new CO2 removal facility for Santos located in the Cooper Basin, South Australia.Role/Focus: Responsible for the delivery of the engineering design for the modules and ISBL sections of plant. Coordinated the interface between the engineering, procurement, and construction management teams.Project: Project Engineering Manager for the FEED phase of a major revamp to a naphtha hydro treating unit and a distillate hydro treating unit for SASOL in South Africa.Role/Focus: The project involved both Greenfield and Brownfield work scopes across engineering disciplines. Project: Project Manager for a major environmental upgrade project to Orica’s chemical facility in QLD. Role/Focus: The project involved managing a team of up to 20 engineers across ten work scopes for a total capital spend of $25m – $30m, and being one of the key client contacts for the project. Project: Management of a pre-feasibility study and cost estimate for the construction of a new $400m Ammonium Nitrate and Nitric Acid facility in Australia.

I was responsible for the execution of Process engineering activities including:1. To act as Lead Process Engineer, to prioritise workloads, follow plans and supervise staff to ensure that project activities are completed within deadlines, within budget and to the accuracy required;2. To participate in Process studies, conceptual designs and estimate preparation;3. To prepare and participate in reviews of Process Flow diagrams, P&ID, equipment and instrument data sheets;4. To assist in the preparation of proposals;5. To participate in HAZOP reviews;6. To assist in the development of systems and procedures to facilitate design methods.
