Over the coming months the reported KPIs showed that his team's non-conformities had dropped significantly. This was testament to Scott's ability to bring the best out of his team, by leading by example. Scott's greatest quality I recognised was his stakeholder management. In the most difficult conversations with internal and external stakeholders, Scott would build a strong rapport with them, de-escalating emotions and tensions, leading to pragmatic resolutions to issues. Scott progressed onto a laboratory manager role which is no less than he deserves, due to his brilliant work ethic and outstanding contribution to our team.
