Supervise a group of 12 Engineers, responsible for the plant SCADA/Control system. Provide technical leadership for design and execution of all SCADA/Control system modifications. This system is one of the largest networks of Allen Bradley PLCs in the country and has over 26 man years in design and development. Responsible to ensure that my department provides safe and environmentally sound solutions to the plants continually changing production needs. Ensure that these solutions are provided on schedule and within budget constraints. Member of the facility Design Authority Group, making technical recommendations, providing review and authorization of all facility SCADA/Control system designs.

Responsible for all plant maintenance activities and personnel while on shift. Shift Maintenance personnel included 1 Mechanical Supervisor, 1 Instrument and Electrical supervisor, 2 Maintenance planners, 1 Maintenance Engineer, 10 Maintenance Mechanics, 8 Instrument and Electrical Techs, and 1 laborer. Ensure that all scheduled Maintenance activities are completed safely and on time. Ensure that all personnel are current on all necessary safety, environmental, medical and training requirements.

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant SCADA/Control system. Optimize the performance of plant control equipment and identify potential areas to improve safety, reliability and efficiency. Develop, modify and function test controls software programs for processing and tracking chemical surety materials. Software development work includes PLC Ladder Logic, HMI system configuration with screen graphics design and animation, database configuration. Ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards. Provide engineering support as required maintaining TOCDF within local & federal regulations and designed parameters.

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate all plant process control loops and electrical systems. Design, order & install new process control and electrical systems for the plant. My responsibilities for these new systems run from the design phase through the commissioning & operation phases including the red-lining of all related drawings and the production of new operation procedures.Perform software modifications and troubleshoot software on plant DCS and PLC networks. Supervise instrument and electrical contract employees to ensure safe and efficient completion of assignments. Fill in as the plant instrument and electrical supervisor in the event of his absence.

I set up the Instrumentation and Electrical shop, ordering all maintenance and calibration equipment. As a member of the E & I start-up team I performed loop checks, interlock & alarm checks, calibration, tuning and troubleshooting of all process control loops. I maintained, troubleshot and repaired low and medium voltage switchgear, MCCs, motor starters, transformers, heaters and all other plant electrical equipment. Perform software modifications and troubleshoot software on plant DCS and PLC networks. Supervise instrument and electrical contract employees to ensure safe and efficient completion of assignments. Fill in as the plant instrument and electrical supervisor in the event of his absence.

Troubleshoot, design, calibrate and repair all process control loops necessary to the efficient operation of the plant. Perform routine preventative maintenance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
