I work to ensure we are using the best technology with our designs as well as streamlining our design process. I also head up the design of one of our two lines. that we currently sell. I am also managing the other engineer so we can meet all our deadlines.

I am leading the team of Engineers and Designers to setup their standards. I will then make changes to their EPDM process to make their process streamlined to the standards that is created. I am also helping with their CAD Administration side of Solidworks. Once all this is completed I will be moved back into Design, EPDM specialist, and CAD Admin.

I wear 2 hats, part time in house Cad Admin the other half I am designing new products that you see every day in the consumer market. Most of what you will see from me is the flip tops lids, screw on tops and many health care and FDA products. My recent design is in production now. Its the Transparent blue Scoop that comes in the Oxy Clean Tubs.

I helped the Design Engineers with their drawings and did do some design per what I was given by the Engineer. Also managed their CAD system and did some technical support help on an As needed basis.

I worked to make their assemblies automated. I created and assembly with full automation. The same assembly built in 2D AutoCAD at the time took several weeks (4-6 wks) I was able to make a full set of drawings and a final 3D model in minutes. The 3D model was fully incontexted (Top down Design) and the drawings were already linked to the model. The user simply copied out the master files and changed the required items in the Design Table and the model updated to their specs. Once Saved the drawing would update and the entire assembly could be printed in just a matter of minutes versus weeks. Then i was laid off shortly after that.

I worked on moving our drawings into Solidworks and made ECO changes as required by Engineering.
