Budgeting of maintenance and production both OPEX and CAPEX. Monitoring cash flow. Profitability OCF-ROCE-P&L. Assisted turning round of Business area from a loss (£1+m) 2010 to profit of £2m 2015.• Compliance, and reviews of Environmental Protection Act Licences (EPA-PPC)• Interviewing/ engagement of staff and Independent Haulage Contractors.• Mentoring Junior management for career progression.• Customer focussed on priority contracts. Ensuring Business is profitable and achieving targets.• Reporting directly to General Manager / Manager Director of CEMEX

• Sole responsibility for the management of two plants, working directly with the customer to assist them in achieving their day-to-day targets. Day to day management of the two plants including:• Ordering of plants and staff requirements• Managing contractors and owner drivers• Health & Safety training for plant staff• End of month stock checks and utility figures• Vehicle maintenance checks & inspections• CHP Power Station extension with EOM, Alstom and Lang O’Rourke achieving up to 500m3 every day over a 3-year period• Working alongside the Operations Manager learning the day to day running of the business• Involved in Health & Safety audits• Involved in Environmental audits

• Area Plant Relief looking after ten plants• Supplying mortar tubs across the Kent and London Region• Dealing with any site complaints• Spent 6 months working in the central shipping office looking after 15 plants across the South East and London Region

• Solely responsible for the day to day running of a very busy Mortar plant• Ensuring the supply of mortar to customers based across the Kent and East Sussex regions• Responsibility for managing and dealing with all customers and complaints• Supplying 50,000 tonnes of CSB Sand for the Euro Tunnel project
