• Responsible for all Safety & Environmental matters- Risk Assessments, COSHH Reviews, Traffic Management Systems, Method Statement/work Instructions, Fire Risk Assessments. Regular audits and sign offs. Accident.
• Monitoring of external contractors working on sites.
• Monthly training by Toolbox talks and yearly 1-to-2-day lecture theatre sessions.
• Quarterly driver training evening meetings lectures on driver safety.
• Responsible for 9 Concrete Plants in South East London, East Kent & East Sussex, One rail Head at Crawley for importation of aggregates circa 60ktpa. Budgeting of maintenance and production both OPEX and CAPEX..
• Compliance, and reviews of Environmental Protection Act Licences (EPA-PPC)

• Sole responsibility for the management of two plants, working directly with the customer to assist them in achieving their day-to-day targets. Day to day management of the two plants including:
• Ordering of plants and staff requirements
• Managing contractors and owner drivers
• Health & Safety training for plant staff
• End of month stock checks and utility figures
• Vehicle maintenance checks & inspections

• Area Plant Relief looking after ten plants
• Supplying mortar tubs across the Kent and London Region
• Dealing with any site complaints
• Spent 6 months working in the central shipping office looking after 15 plants across the South East and London Region

• Solely responsible for the day to day running of a very busy Mortar plant
• Ensuring the supply of mortar to customers based across the Kent and East Sussex regions
• Responsibility for managing and dealing with all customers and complaints
• Supplying 50,000 tonnes of CSB Sand for the Euro Tunnel project
