In 1983 I went to work for central construction where I was a labor hand then I became an operator and forman .We built roads, box bridges laid gravity flow sewer pipe,water pipe, storm sewer installed sewer pump station pour concrete parking lot curb and gutter as well as inlets and catch basins. In 1993 I started my on business Benefield construction. I did state and federal highway construction.In 2009 we shut the company down due to bad economic times .In 2010 I started working for TK Stanley as a supervisor in oil field construction . In 2011 I went to North Dakota with the company as Safty and then started running day to day operations. In May 2013 the company wanted me to work in the gulf coast region. As it was when I owned my on business I bid jobs, manage daily operations and handle business with the men that work for the oil companies.
