Coordinated a four-person team of engineers to determine the cause of loss to multiple buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, golf course, and soil restoration. • Lead Forensic Engineer on a multi-million-dollar insurance claim at four apartment complexes, over 150 buildings. Coordinated a three-person team of engineers to determine cause or roof damage, exterior siding, and reparability.• Forensic structural inspection of an NFL stadium to determine cause of spalling in sections of the concrete members and inspected the condition of the expansion joint materials throughout the stadium. Created a report providing the locations of damage, the causes of damage, and repair recommendations that included a signed and sealed set of drawings detailing the method of repairs.• Lead Forensic Engineer on Construction Defect claims involving window/glazing/curtain wall installation multi-story buildings.• Lead Forensic Engineer on Construction Defect claim involving stucco installation in multi-family complexes, planned comminutes, and isolated buildings.• Lead Forensic Engineer on Vibration/Building claim involving an historic building located adjacent to a construction site for a high-rise building.

• Conducted over 250 inspections of residential and commercial buildings and provided expert opinion. Inspected buildings for structural building stability, MWRFS, lateral load distribution, gravity and wind loading on walls and roofs, snow loading and drifts, buckling failures, concrete and steel failures, roof failures, code and ordinance requirements, lightning damage, fire damage, mold/mildew damage, and foundation erosion and scour damage. Researched past storm events, past permits, structural drawings, and soil properties. Performed mold sampling and collected mold samples for lab inspection, collected evidence items from inspections to recreate or test the reported failures of the items.• Selected for the National Flood Team and conducted over 50 inspections of residential buildings for flood damage following FEMA guidelines. Flood inspections were conducted in the states of Florida, New York, New Jersey, Texas, and Iowa. Determined what structural elements, if any, were damaged from the flood event. Analyzed and researched the storm surges, wind speeds, and reported damages from the flood event in the area to determine overall damage to surrounding areas to compare with current inspection. Provided a scope of repairs for damages due to the flood event and additional results and conclusions for damage not directly related to the flood event.
