CurrentAmazon Go - Algorithmic Orchestration Team- Managing and writing features for a framework for integrated dependency injection, runtime management, and asynchronous communication.- Responsible for developing applied machine learning applications end-to-end. These machine learning algorithms run on a microservice-oriented component framework that I own and make predictions on shopping events in real-time.- Designed new fixed-width binary protocol that increased throughput on high use framework by 10x allowing Amazon to launch larger format stores.- Implemented a custom flow control and autoscaling solution for use on component framework.- Re-architected microservice architecture responsible for event generation to run on a new distributed, autonomous, fault-tolerant network using Kotlin/Python.- Streamlined regression testing and debugging on new distributed scheduler/executor that allowed us to release to production several weeks ahead.- Root-cause, mitigate, and fix emergency issues through regular on-call rotation.- Work frequently with many AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, IAM, Route53, SQS/SNS, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and others, as well as databases, SQL, and NoSQL.
