Chefs Menu is a Meal Kit and Sauce company based out of the heart of the central valley. We strive to provide simple yet elegant meal kits that you can make at home in under 15 minutes. As we expand across the country in all your local retail stores my job is to build working relationships and partner up with vendors to continue the highest quality of product we can produce.

My main background is in the sourcing and managing of produce. I provide quality produce to a wide variety of food service customers. I have also taken on the roll of the perishable buyer as I now handle all the dairy, eggs, drinks (i.e Pepsi, coke) as well as the frying oils for the company. With the wide variety of items I have taken on it has only made me a stronger buyer over the years and well as always finding new ways to build stronger relationships with my sales members selling the product.

Managing a 35 million dollar a year produce department which sold about $700,000 in weekly sales at 30,000 packages. while keeping a 99.6% service to the customers. Worked closely with the sales force of over a 100 members to produce confidence in the product they are selling from training meetings to promotional flyers.

• Management of a multi-million dollar commodity category’s procurement, pricing, sales opportunities, inventories, mega trends, options, ad promotions, grower relations, and supply forecasting.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, quality, logistics, and financial groups during lifecycle of commodity through obtainment, allocation, and distribution. • Establish and continually cultivate relationships with present and future growers/customers including Safeway, Savemart, Target, Walmart, Winco, Kroger, US Foods, Sysco, and wholesalers. • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly P & L analysis meetings to maintain and integrate new systems to drive sales and assess product positioning efforts. • Oversee packaging inventories and distribution to ensure adequate supply levels for value-added products and repack needs. • Accurately assess daily commodity market trends from weather, demand, seasonality, and supply to execute the buying of commodities and management of current inventory. • Project the effects of competitive supply to stimulate shifts in company’s positioning to primarily procure baseline supply and direct purchases to changes in the market. • Utilize effective communication to promote company values and the relentless creation of extraordinary successes with our partners.

My love for produce started here. After College I was given the opportunity to work in a produce packing house learning the ends and outs of a wide variety of dry vegetables. I worked closely with the re-pack crew to pack the best product for our retail and food service customers
