Directly manage a team of Service Sales Representatives (Route Drivers) who provide the pick-up and delivery of products to businesses. Responsibilities include hiring and developing assigned Service Sales Representatives, as well as managing the overall performance of the team. Also responsible for providing leadership, resolving customer service issues, training Service Sales Representatives on sales techniques, driving to visit customers on service calls, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, achieving sales, profit, inventory and payroll goals, managing a budget, and dealing with operational issues that affect service. Providing hands-on support of direct reports includes riding on route with Service Sales Representatives or alone when necessary, to assist in the pick-up and delivery of products.

Provide route service to a set customer base, through the pick-up and delivery of uniforms and facility services products such as floor mats, dust mops, air fresheners, soaps, restroom paper supplies, and other ancillary products. Duties involved driving a company owned box truck to and from numerous customer stops throughout the course of the day, as well as lifting, carrying and walking clean products into and soiled products out of customer accounts. Responsible for customer satisfaction, by responding to customer inquiries and requests, as well as pro-active problem solving. Most important growing the existing route, through sales of additional items from our product line and catalog to current customers. New customers are assigned, in order to build a rapport between the Service Sales Representative and the customers serviced.

Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments with prospects, presenting programs and meeting a sales quota . Transport samples of products for presentations.
