Celebrated 28 Years in Banking in late 2014 and decided it was time for a change..Left school end of 7th form year in 1986 and went straight into Banking at Westpac. 16 years working in various positions around Christchurch.2002 left Westpac and joined SBS Bank in the then new Riccarton Branch where I spent 3 years in a Business Development role. Then 1 year lending to 1st home buyers in our Manchester Street Branch which is sadly no longer there (thanks ChCh earthquakes)In late 2006 made the bold decision to relocate with the family to manage the Gore Branch - best move we've ever made. Gore is a fantastic wee town (don't believe those nay-sayers) Southern Hospitality is certainly alive & kicking. After 7 very enjoyable and successful years made the move to manage Invercargill Branch in September 2013. From January 2014 I spent 4 years managing the Southland Branch of the Graeme Dingle Foundation (formerly known as the Foundation for Youth Development) a Child and Youth Charity empowering young people to be 'better people'. This was an extremely exciting and rewarding opportunity. Due to Family reasons I needed to move back to my home town of Christchurch in March 2020 (the day prior to the Covid-19 Level 4 lockdown).Up until a week ago I was the Chief Financial Officer for TRU Group, a Traffic Management specialist company. Due to a internal restructure my role was disestablished so I am now actively looking for an exciting new career opportunity. Claim to fame was representing NZ for several years in the mid 1980's - early 1990's as a Track & Field sprinter. Highlights include competing at the inaugural World Under 20 Championship in Athens, Greece in 1986 and at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland 1990.
