The Portland Home Builders Foundation is the charitable arm of the Portland Home Building Industry. It provides scholarships and mentorships to students interested in pursuing careers in the home building industry. It also upgrades existing or in some cases builds new temporary homeless shelters for local non profit organizations.

Serve as a company leader and am responsible for the financial, human resource and operations of the company. The primary objective as the Vice President of Operations is to guide each project from development to completion within budget and time limitations while maintaining and promoting quality workmanship. Be responsible for all events and activities associated with Construction, including all operations of each construction site. Interact with project managers and subcontractors on a regular basis to build relationships and to ensure quality, efficiency, timeliness, and budget compliance. Assist in the development of projects, including, but not limited to, development of the project design, inspection of prospective project sites, and value engineering. Review civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing disciplines for conformity to budget and quality standards. Oversee and coordinate all tasks leading up to construction, including, but not limited to, acquisition(s) of building permit(s), establishment of pre-construction meetings, preparation of material take-offs, and negotiations of job buy-outs for materials and sub-contracts.
