Sharing specialized expertise in project controls, including the development of software and sequence of operations across multiple platform types, which provides the necessary knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) to evaluate facilities on multiple levels. As a Cx Agent, I have had exposure to many devices from multiple vendors in all types of operating conditions. When reviewing specifications/control submittals, I understand the importance of properly selecting the brand and equipment type, taking response time, reliability, and accuracy into consideration. I have witnessed devices perform and fail in the field, enabling me to offer suggestions at a project’s conception to avoid costly and timely mistakes. My background also provides an opportunity to give design suggestions to make the systems easily expandable, which ultimately saves the client money.My experience in controls and Cx focusing on central plants and air handling units provides a unique understanding of how to optimize the operation of these energy-intensive systems. I have a thorough understanding of how to properly perform functional tests to ensure these systems operate as stated in the sequence of operations.
