I represent corporate clients in the telecom, media, and tech industries, focusing on privacy law, consumer protection, and alternative dispute resolution. I have successfully defended cases nationwide involving federal and state consumer protection acts, privacy laws, and unfair and deceptive trade practices acts, including claims arising under the Video Privacy Protection Act, Federal Wiretap Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, California Invasion of Privacy Act, California Consumer Privacy Act, and California Privacy Rights Act. I have defended high-stakes mass arbitrations, and I am a leading authority on consumer arbitration as well as creating and implementing efficient dispute resolution programs and strategies for large organizations. I am also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), and I help my clients navigate the evolving landscape of data privacy and protection. I began my legal career at a well-known California defense firm Haight Brown & Bonesteel, LLP. I subsequently opened and managed a successful law firm, and I worked as an attorney for AT&T before joining Seki Nishimura & Watase, LLP in 2019. I earned my JD from Loyola Law School and my BA from the University of California – Irvine. I also maintain an active real estate broker's license.
