    In October 2005 PBG Networks was awarded the NSO contract under the CECOM Rapid Response (CR-2) vehicle with Partner L3 Communications. PBG would now oversee all network security for the DoD JCALS initiative. PBG also had the daunting task of upgrading the military’s aging network. Scott spearheaded the effort and was instrumental in creating the largest full-mesh network ever established, connecting more than 110 bases with a total of 12,000 connections around the United States.

ATC was most noted for the contributions by its founder and Chief Architect Scott Brousseau to the Next-Gen project a joint effort between the U.S. Army and Citrix. Scott worked with the U.S. Army to provide security guidelines on the design of Citrix Metaframe to be implemented in FR2. The Patricia Bennett Group, Inc., or as its presently known PBG Networks had heard of the work Scott was doing and acquired ATC in September 2005.
