As the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), I have overall responsibility for health and safety management of those onboard. I am accountable for managing all aspects of the business on the installation and the White Rose field. Responsibilities include:Manage the operation of production and associated facilities, including maintenance, construction and other support operations, in accordance with Regulatory requirements and offshore industry standards, to achieve established objectives in the most productive, cost effective and safe manner possible.Effectively manage financial resources within delegated authority limitations to minimize wastage and maximize profitability.Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner, communicating in a clear and timely fashion and providing accurate information and records.Actively promoting and ensuring personnel commitment to safety.Continually monitoring the application and implementation of the Installation Safety Plan and supporting procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant Governmental safety regulations, to ensure a safe working environment at all times.Command of all emergency situations on the Installation, and Coordinator to support nearby installations affected by emergencies.

Accountable for the safe loading and discharging of crude oil on dynamically positioned shuttle tankers working on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland.Responsible for the operation of the bow loading equipment and hook up procedures during offshore loading operationsManagement of the deck department.Liaising with the Chief Engineer to ensure planning maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and well organized manner.
