About Scott Bryce

I love my job, and was awarded runner up for 'most dedicated STEM teacher of the year award' at the STEMNET awards 2012. Broxburn academy STEM club which I led received the 'most dedicated STEM club in the UK award' at the same ceremony at the House of Lords, London. In 2014 I worked with the Society of Biology to set up Scotland's first and only Biology teacher network and a Biology teacher mailing list and resource sharing platform called 'SYNAPSE' which now has over 1300 registered users in all Scottish local authorities.Following a successful two year secondment to SSERC as STEM Education support officer - Higher education and industry links, I returned to the classroom and I am at Wallace High School as Faculty head of Science. I am also an appointee for the SQA as a team leader for the Higher Physics assignment and main paper.Currently an appointee for the SQA as a team leader for the Higher Physics exam.
