I am a very detailed oriented individual who retired from public education after 40 years. My educational experience started with 7 years in the classroom (Biology/Anatomy & Physiology) and as an athletic coach (Football and Wrestling). The last 33 years of my career were as a High School Administrator. During my years as an administrator I mentored numerous teachers. The last few years I worked with Governors State University as a mentor for teachers earning their Principal Endorsement. After earning my Doctorate in Ethical Leadership, I became a dissertation reader for doctoral candidates at Olivet Nazarene University. Shortly after retirement, I began working part-time at the Kankakee Area Career Center as a Career Coach and Internship Liaison. I have found a position in retirement that has enabled me to work more closely with students...the reason I entered the field of Education!I am excited to work with the next generation of educators as an Adjunct Professor/University Supervisor of Student Teachers. I believe that planning WITH people is an extremely important part of being an effective leader. Preparing others, of any age, for their future is one of my passions. Teamwork really does make the difference!
