Using a host of written, verbal, and visual skills, I created engaging communication campaigns and materials. I used these materials in visits to secondary schools and educational organizations across the country promoting King’s and advocating for the study of the liberal arts.• I worked with the Assistant Registrar of Communications to create successful marketing materials and events. These included workshops showcasing Kings’ unique and exciting programming for prospective students, and composing the King’s website, book-length brochure, and Simplycast mass text marketing platform.• With a thorough understanding of the complex degree structures and offerings between King’s and Dalhousie, I rendered complicated information in exciting, accessible, and digital-friendly language for prospective students. • I inputted and analyzed data with the Banner CRM in order to form evidence-based communications strategies.• I created an enduring positive opinion of King’s among the numerous audiences I contacted and contributed to a trend-reversing increase in incoming enrolment.

I composed for and performed in full band ensembles and solo acoustic sets in and around Halifax, Toronto, and Montréal, using social media creatively and effectively to promote my music.

• I created, promoted, and ran programming tailored for the community audiences of the clubs.• Using frequent and personalized communications through tools such as Mailchimp, I built solid relationships with club members and maintained a base of over 50 loyal private lesson clients.• I dedicated substantial programming to youth by creating community-oriented and free social programs.• As Head Coach at St. George’s, I revived its instructional and recreational offerings by effectively ingratiating myself to the community and offering engaging programming. • I planned and executed outreach campaigns to deliver tennis programming to underserved students in elementary schools. My effort resulted in increased enrolment in club programming.

• I was responsible for sales, inventory, marketing, accounting, buying, and maintenance tasks. • To succeed in this role, I relied on my deep knowledge of print culture (both contemporary and antique, trade fiction and academic) and the ability to work in a team of other student employees.• I created content for the store’s social media marketing, and maintained its channels to promote author events and reading groups.
