The Division Clinical Specialist serves as the primary clinical ITG resource for the development, implementation, and support of advanced clinical applications or complex MEDITECH tools across the division. The role's primary focus will be on HeART (Heightened Alerting Response for Telemetry), HCA's newest integration and alerting program for Telemetry patients. Other duties will include the support of CMI Vitals Monitoring and AirStrip ONE. This role participates in the company-wide community in their specialty area(s), supports community growth within the division by establishing and growing strong relationships with facility Senior Clinical Analysts and core team members, and works with the Division Clinical Specialist Team to ensure advanced clinical applications are well supported throughout the division.

Clinical Data Integration Analyst

The clinical data integration analyst is responsible for the requirements definition, deployment, testing and support of interface and integration technology within an HCA division. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing day to day analytical activities including gathering user requirements, reviewing specifications with vendors, understanding HL7 message formats, testing interfaces, and providing technical support. Development, testing, and support of division tools such as scripting. Works with other Information Services analysts, clinical SME and technical staff as they relate to specific clinical/patient care initiatives. Supports the development of a comprehensive patient electronic health record through the integration of various clinical applications including but not limited to; Meditech, Radiology PACS, Cardiology PACS, QS System, patient physiological device interfaces, fetal monitoring, cardiology EKG strips, physician portals, clinical data repository, and other related clinical systems. Coordinates efforts with HCA IT&S staff and division Information Services staff to develop and maintain any required interfaces between applications. Ensures all division/HCA security and hardware/software standards are followed, and that all projects are completed on time and on budget. Experience with BA processes and technique are required. Knowledge of HL7 and message processing is required. Experience with interface engines, scripting, Meditech and various other clinical applications and clinical operational workflows is required. This position supports the integration of applications and incorporate new features and functions as they are developed by the vendors and provides second level support for the division service desk as needed.
