Manages a group which conducts Assessments of commercial, public and multi-family residential properties across the United States, including in major metropolitan areas such as Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles. Group consults on over $1 billion worth of public and private real estate annually. Typically assessed properties include high- and low-rise office buildings, warehousing and distribution facilities, hospitals, medical office buildings, condominiums, hotels, retail spaces (including high-end retail) and life science buildings. The practice also consults on States of Good Repair for Transportation agencies across the country. Typical assessment scope includes background research, building inspections, data collection, cost analyses for present deficiencies and anticipated future repairs and comprehensive reports. Reports cover all aspects of the properties including site improvements, building structure (interior and exterior), HVAC, electrical and water systems, interior build-outs, conveyance, life safety systems, ancillary structures and ADA compliance. As a Practice Leader for AECOM, he has resources across the country that include architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, envrionmental professionals and structural engineers.In addition, his Practice has worked to be at the forefront of the Condition Assessment and Asset Management fields, exploring new ways to improve processes and deliverables through technology. His practice uses drones, enhanced data collection methodologies, 3D Lidar and BIM and dynamic dashboard reporting to improve products delivered to clients. Through these interactions the group has also developed one-of-a-kind analytical tools for Transit agency State of Good Repair analysis.
