Providing financial planning solutions to clients and technical support to the directors of the US family office. Key responsibilities:•Providing holistic financial planning and investment solutions to US HNW individuals, who are predominantly UK resident, non-domiciled status.•Maintaining a working knowledge of US tax legislation (FATCA, HIRE ACT, Dodd-Frank) and its effect on US citizens and their investment portfolios.•Analysis of existing tax wrappers (SIPP’s, ISA’s) and investment portfolios from a US tax perspective.•Advising on US compliant investment strategies.•Giving presentations to clients on London & Capital, US tax issues and legislation and investment solutions.•Business development through regular meetings and presentations to professional introducers (IFA’s, accountants, lawyers and tax planners).•Managing existing client relationships and onboarding new clients and managing the relationship from inception.•Producing in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis and investment reporting for clients existing portfolios.•Providing technical support to the US family office directors.

Managing the investment and banking requirements of private clients resident throughout Asia and Africa. Providing advice on both investment structures and wider ranging banking products and services, including trust structures and credit facilities.Leading regular business trips to the geographic regions of the client base whilst ensuring strict adherence to relevant country guidelines.

Providing direct support to the bank’s relationship managers in order to effectively manage the client base of domiciled/non-domiciled UK residents.

Liaising with company management and managing the relationship with third party intermediaries.Arranging and meeting with outside notaries to organise the legalisation and notarisation of company documents. Arranging the execution of property purchase/disposal documents, and leading meetings with internal advocates in order to achieve this.Completing outstanding and continued due diligence for the companies my department was responsible for. Planning, organising and attending company board meetings.Managing share buyback schemes; from initial notification by the company, through to the final execution of payments to shareholders.
