CCR Operations Technician / Specialist on INPEX Ichthys FPSO.Following on from 3yr project appointment and subsequent lead trainer for CCR Operations Team, joined the CCR team as the facility moved into the production phase, providing ongoing operational expertise in the various FPSO production and utility systems.

Commenced with Inpex in 2014 in an Operations Advisory / Specialist capacity with the development of the ICSS Process Simulation and Training System (OTS) for Inpex Ichthys Venturer FPSO.Key responsibilities to oversee and ensure accurate process model development and integration with the ICSS build in line with plant design, and ensure overall Simulator operability and functionality as per real-life expectations.Developed vendor package simulation logic for various systems outside of main ICSS build scope to supplement the required capability of the OTS.Delivery involved a significant level of ICSS testing, interrogation and resultant corrective action implementation, feeding back into initial process and ICSS design in consultation with the relevant project engineering teams.At completion of project scope moved into the lead training role of the FPSO ICSS operation / control for the facility CCR technicians.

Operations advisory role associated with detailed design of DCS HMI interface, DCS standard applications and process control / logic of various process and F&G systems associated with FLNG design. Following completion of detailed design moved into DCS build and configuration FAT scope at vendor premises in Singapore.

Seconded to Okha project team in advisory role associated with ICSS HMI development at vendor premises in South Africa and on project site in Singapore.Branched out into OTS development, testing and acceptance, and ultimately became lead trainer on ICSS operation / process control at conclusion of project scope.Follow on role as CCR start-up technician through to steady state operation.

Control Room Technician responsible for the DCS based operation of the various systems associated with FPSO operation, including subsea wells & flowlines, crude oil separation / stabilisation, rundown and offtake, gas compression, gas dehydration, gas lift & gas export, and various utility systems to support the FPSO operation.
