Within several developer teams in the mission-critical business platform group at Adobe I collaborated with fellow developers and management, locally and across timezones, to produce high-quality software using Agile methods (Scrum) and software engineering best practices (KIS, DRY, SOLID).My contributions covered the full range of the SDLC: New features, PR Review, Debugging, Bug fixing, DevOps, Documentation authoring, 24- hour on-call support. These codebases were predominately Java 8+/Spring. All production code written with test coverage: unit, integration, functional.• As a core contributor on a large middle-layer API service, including several micro-services, I ensured the service met and surpassed four nines availability while continuing to align with the needs of the business. I focused additional efforts into runtime quality by leading initiatives to standardize and automate monitoring and alerting. As a result, the services saw continued improvement in availability measurements and on-call staff ability to understand service status.• As the sole developer for a customer-facing API service and SDK, I ensured that the service met the needs of high-profile enterprise-class customers and provided four nines availability. Increased performance by refactoring existing code and working with downstream services when needed to improve customer experience. These optimizations resulted in >80% performance gains for customer workflows.• As architect and developer, I lead an initiative to elevate runtime quality through standardization and automation of monitoring and alerting. With a small group of developers, I produced a shared library product deployed to multiple services, providing automated, dynamically configurable, and testable alerting with New Relic and Splunk.

Founded as a platform and social network connecting fashion stylists to clients and providing the necessary infrastructure to perform individualized, one-on-one, service. I conceived the idea, developed business model, raised funds, developed software specifications, designed web UI/UX, mobile strategy, platform, hired team of two fashion industry individuals and developers, managed operation and development taking project from inception to alpha testing.
