This included using Subversion to maintain multiple code sets at four levels to manage major releases, minor releases, service packs, and patches (i.e. Release 12.2.7.8).· Replaced a functionality-based release schedule with a time-based release schedule to provide the clients with more timely releases.· Managed a Build and Deployment team that used Maven to manage the Java build process on Oracle Application Servers. The group was responsible for deploying all new releases/service packs/patches to the necessary in-house and on-site environments.· Worked closely with clients to determine which defects and enhancements needed to be back-ported to prior releases (branches) to satisfy the client’s needs. · In charge of a fifteen-member onshore/offshore Quality Assurance (QA) team that used Selenium to create automated regression-testing scripts as part of the release certification process. All builds were required to pass a Build Verification Test prior to beta and final certification.· Managed the following areas of testing: white box, black box, regression, integration, cross-browser, stress, end-to-end, system, and UAT.· Tracked the development and testing efforts of each new defect and enhancement to be included in each product release/service pack/patch.
