CurrentSpringbrook Behavioral Health is a 135 bed psychiatric and behavioral health hospital that concurrently runs two distinct programs:For adolescents and pediatrics, Springbrook also offers both acute inpatient and long term residential services for those children, dually-diagnosed with a behavioral health disorder and also on the Autism spectrum, who exhibit severe and profound behaviors.For adults, the hospital offers short term acute psychiatric and chemical dependency services. I serve as an account representative for Springbrook's business/referral partners. My territory includes, but is not limited to the states of North Carolina, Kentucky, and Ohio. I serve within each of the seven North Carolina MCO catchment areas including; Vaya Health, Partners Behavioral Health, Cardinal Innovations, Sandhills Center, Eastpointe Behavioral Health, Alliance Behavioral Health, and Trillium Health Resources.My role functions as a bridge linking information about our services to current and potential referral sources. This is accomplished through collaboration with physicians, discharge planners, care coordinators, intake specialists and other referral sources resulting in eligibility and appropriateness for our inpatient and residential services. Conversely, I also work to identify trends within community based programming, as well as changes within these environments that may directly impact the effectiveness of Springbrook's services. This is accomplished through participation in general community education efforts by methods of presentations or by presence and involvement at community events and network meetings. Finally, I manage the contracting and business development functions required for each managed care entity located within my territory.
