Scott is passionate about fostering a culture that supports everybody returning home in the same condition that they started the day. He is a driven implementer, strong advocate for process improvement practices, and a student of Lean and Stephen Covey Leadership principles. Scott’s experience with Lean is unique in that the typical manufacturing concepts have been applied in a non-manufacturing environment. Scott is an industry veteran in oilfield operations, failure analysis, emergency response planning and regulatory management practices, including leading cross-functional teams charged with addressing the triage, analysis and resolution of various non-technical risks. These risks included public, regulatory and legislative affairs posing significant barriers to business goal achievement.Career Highlights:▪️ Led and collaborated with internal and external partners to deliver a record run for the company of 132 days worked without an injury for over 3000 workers, achieving a Total Recordable Injury Rate of 0.24. ▪️Co-led cross-functional teams charged with addressing the triage, analysis and resolution of various non-technical risks, including public, regulatory and legislative affairs posing significant barriers to business goal achievement.▪️Assembled or led teams charged with achieving compliance with new county and state regulations put in place to govern oilfield development activity. These actions allowed the company to successfully achieve previously threatened key business objectives. Scott works hard so that he can play hard. As such, in his spare time, he enjoys SCUBA diving, sailing, biking, skiing and traveling with his spouse.
