I am a self-driven, highly motivated ecologist with a background in mitigating wildlife impacts from: 1) energy development, including wind projects, oil and gas, and coal mining, and 2) climate change with a focus on understanding ecological transformation of systems. I have extensive experience in developing close working relationships among conflicting user groups coupled with a thorough and comprehensive understanding of anthropogenic developments. I oversee a team dedicated to improving: our conservation response to climate change impacts, understanding the relationship between conservation and the public, and the role pollinators play. Our team acts as a science translator communicating these issues to US Fish and Wildlife staff and our many partners.
