Welcome to my LinkedIn page. If you're here to know about my career, then hold on. My career has taken many twists and turns, and when one door opened, two more were open right behind it. My name is Scott and the most important things come first. I have been married for thirty years to my beautiful bride Julie. We have been blessed with three kids Madelyn, Nolan, and Colton. I started my career in the Air Force with the kickoff of the Gulf War. These years were blessed beyond measure because that's where I met my bride-to-be and it gave me a different perspective as I moved into my future career. Kids came next and that's where I found my love for coaching youth sports. I became very active in our community between coaching and board meetings. This turned into non-profit boards, which was another extension of giving back to a community that gave me so much growing up.My life in law enforcement opened my eyes to another side of our community, both good and bad. Transferring to the Marshal's Office allowed me to see the government at work in all its murky glory.All these experiences led to me wanting to run for political office so I could give back to my community. Friends, family, hunting, and fishing, all go hand in hand and are my outlets.My life and career have been amazing but I am just starting this journey. I look forward to what's around the next bend in the road.
