As a Solutions Architect, I interact with account representatives and customers, assisting in the sales process from a technical perspective. Lending technical knowledge to the process ensures that the resulting contract meets everyones expectations. I fulfilled a multi-faceted roll as a Linux architect and engineer for DTCC, engaging internal customers to provide solutions to meet their business goals using Linux as the platform of choice. DTCC utilized vblock technology for implementing their virtualized environment for Red Hat Enterprise Linux. In addition to running Red Hat in a vm environment, DTCC deployed to bare metal for supporting Oracle databases, where performance tuning was performed to achieve maximum utilization. Additionally was the manager of the vulnerability and patch management team that provided direction and guidance in reducing the risk footprint of the company. Consistently achieving obtainable results through mitigation and proper project management of vulnerability remediation.

Red Hat Consulting provides professional services to our customers, installing, configuring and troubleshooting Red Hat products.

Participate in a team that managed the world-wide Unix/Linux infrastructure of servers. Environment consisted of Solaris, AIX and Red Hat servers configured in high availability and attached to EMC and NetApp storage devices. We were also responsible for administration automation and asset management, in addition to architecting and implementing new technology.

Provide 24/7 first response coverage on all IT systems within Micron Technology. A system administrator at Micron manages the tape backup systems along with being very diverse across multiple hardware and software platforms, providing triage and initial troubleshooting information to the teams responsible for resolution and return to service.

Manage and maintain the information systems command-wide ensuring day-to-day operations of the base and airwing were at peak availability and performance.
