For the past 25 years I have created various stories and articles - fiction and non-fiction. Several stories have been cited in THE YEAR'S BEST SCIENCE FICTION and THE YEAR'S BEST FANTASY AND HORROR in their recommended reading. I was a nominee for the John W. Campbell Award for best new science fiction writer in 1991and the 2007 World Fantasy Award as co-editor of CROSS PLAINS UNIVERSE (nominated for Best Anthology). Published non-fiction has been in the areas of Financial Services, Mystery, Western, Comics, Science Fiction, and other areas. I have also been a reviewer of horror and westerns for MYSTERY SCENE Magazine as well as Forgotten Books and Movies for the Missions Unknown blog.

Provide audit services for two major US banks, a multi-family building owner, and for a social media advertising company. Work for bank included reviews of Basel II risks in Foreign Exchange for Wholesale Banking, Commercial Trust Services reviews of Mortgage Backed Securities, Home Mortgage reviews for compliance to Federal Consent Order, AML, Credit Risk Management, Credit Card Originations and Servicing. The -family building owner reviews included evaluating their internal controls over construction projects, reviews of contract ;language, change order handling, and a review of project to date charges on a current building . Social Media advertising reviews included SOX reviews for Home Office location and Revenue Recognition for one of their subsidiaries. This was all contract work which ended recently.

Provide audit services to a major insurance company and a major metropolitan transportation group. For the insurance company I provided SOX reviews of various aspects of the Home Office and one of their subsidiaries. For the transportation group, I created an audit program for them to use to examine their construction projects for updating older existing systems and facilities.
