I have also worked closely with various project teams through all aspects of developing a product from start to finish to a timing plan. Another commitment within my job role is to work closely with other people and part of a well organised team within the test labortory department to ensure that all tasks are completed on time. The biggest part of my job is working to a UKAS Accreditation ISO/IEC 17025:2005 - General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. In my role this includes ensuring that all procedures are up to date and correct to tthe standard, that all data and documents are recorded and that all of the product are correctly callibrated and within calibration. Also, ensuring that all staff members (inclyuding myself) are trained competantly in the testing performed. Show less

During my time at this company, I worked closely with heavy duty machinery and tools completing overhauls (complete refurbishment) on various different types of train engines, raft sets and transmissions to the British standard using technical drawings, tight tolerances, measuring equipment and complied to all health and safety and COSHH regulations.
