I am a Combat Engineer with the US Army Reserves. I am also an 8 year veteran of the US Coast Guard. Through the Coast Guard I have learned many valuable tools and skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership and problem solving. I enjoy working with coworkers and customers to solve problems and complete tasks. I am a people person and love to converse with everyone I meet. I am a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where I received my bachelors in Organizational Leadership with a minor in Communication. Through school I have learned many valuable skills such as writing, reporting, Microsoft Office skills, and time management. I have been working full time as well as attending school full time, and through this I have learned how to keep a well managed schedule so that I can complete all work needed for both work and school. My belief is that communication is key to making everything successful. Even if a problem comes up, anything can be corrected or completed with the proper communication. This was key in my time in the Coast Guard, we had several classes and had training on how communication helps through any situation. I believe this carries over to any situation, as long as there is clear and proper communication, anything can be accomplished.
