Accountable for Finished Goods production and inventory management for all US Consumer brands including Huggies, Kotex, Depend, Kleenex, Scott, Cottonelle and VivaTeam includes 60 people accountable production and inventory management of $7.4B in annual net sales, $4.2B in COGS and $800M in Inventory valueLeading a multi-year Inventory Improvement Roadmap activity to reduce working capital liabilities by over $400M by 2011. Utilizing Lean tools and processes to execute. To date, over $200M in cash has been freed up since January 2009. Team utilizes SAP R3 and APO tool kits to execute workflow.

Accountable for executing the largest change in KC's Consumer distribution footprint in 10 years. Project improved speed to market and distribution cost by consolidating DC operations to 9 regional "mega" DC's. Project is currently delivering more than $8MM/yr in transportation savings to the companyLead cross functional project team of 20 and executed (3) 500m+ sq ft DC start-ups within 9 months. All aspects of location selection, transportation flow, real-estate acquisition, supplier selection, DC layout and operational start-up were in scope.Led a team of 15 accountable for all 3PL regional distribution center operations across North America. This team is accountable for shipping over 60% of all KC's cubic volume and over 53% of net sales.

Accountable for KC's +$750MM annual Transportation spend including all modes of transportation - truckload, LTL, Rail, parcel and ocean.Led pricing negotiations that developed and maintained a 4% under market pricing structure as measure by industry benchmarks while maintaining core carrier relationships with 8 focused national carriers.Led a corporate-wide evaluation of Transportation Services outsourcing that led to a TMS upgrade (i2 solution) saving KC over $12MM per year in transportation costs by improved carrier optimization/selection and improved multi-leg trip building.

Led a team of 45 transportation professionals accountable for daily mode/carrier selection and on-time delivery execution for all KC North American freight. Team manages over 1200 TL eq's of freight per day moving over 2500 lane combinations, primarily via the truckload mode.Developed and executed a revamp to the core carrier program to ensure on-time delivery remained above 95% during the 2003-2004 all-time spike in the Morgan Stanley index. Capacity enablement was the key focus during this time.

Led a team of 200 hourly and salaried employees accountable for all logistics aspects of one of KC's largest production facilities located outside Philadelphia. Position included experience in procurement, transportation, and site materials flow and customer direct distribution. Site produced and shipped over 130 TL eq's of product per day. Participated in union contract negotiations that led labor rate reductions of over $7MM in the DC while bringing $12MM in new capital projects to the site. Personally led the Logistics negotiating team that was successful in delivering this 'first of a kind agreement'.
