Transport Ind. Co. et. al., 17 Cal 4th 38. His experience and reputation increase the likelihood of maximizing settlement value, with Scott recovering upwards of $500,000,000 for clients. Scott also has substantial experience in cases involving class/mass torts, product liability, and environmental claims. He appears in these cases throughout the country, trying several high profile mass tort cases to jury and winning another at the expert stage. Before joining Hunton, Scott was a partner at Winston & Strawn for 13 years, heading the firm's insurance recovery group. Before that, he had been the firm-wide Chairman of a 140 attorney multi-office law firm.
