Material Technology Engineer
CurrentMaterial quality engineer responsible for managing quality of CVD, Diffusion, implant, etch, and bulk gases. Previous Owner of CMP Slurry chemical, pad, diamond disc! and bare wafer quality approval, validation, and new vendor development.Responsible for the quality of incoming raw materials to SAS site, including:-Ownership of a group of raw materials -Interaction and management of multiple material vendors: quality, supply chain management, technical support, improvements, corrective actions-Daily management of material issues (SPC, data analysis, spec ownership)-Qualifications of materials including: vendor change verifications, project planning, execution of qualification, data analysis-Interact with various groups on site: Fab engineering, Purchasing, Gas and Chemical Systems, Chemical Analysis Lab, ManufacturingCommon duties include: -Initiate and lead improvement teams both internal and external to material Technology-Perform experiments utilizing statistical methods and document results-Document all work accurately and promptly in the correct factory systemComplete projects promptly; submit regular and special reports as required-Communicate regularly with other in the engineering group, both Samsung Austin and Korea-Perform other duties as required for factory operation-Create SOPs and optimizing procedures-Support Group Key Meterics (OOC, Scrap, etc.)
