Material quality engineer responsible for managing quality of CVD, Diffusion, implant, etch, and bulk gases. As the project manager and engineer for designing and producing high purity organic acids for later use in semiconductor manufacturing.As a project manager I supervised a 1-2 person team during chemical manufacturing using a small batch process and moving toward scale up production of a system cabable of generating 250,000 KG/Year in the pilot plant. A wide range of organic acids are widely used as additives in CMP slurries to improve performance or control material suspensions stability.I was hired during the start-up phase of the company. I was given the task of creating a process for manufacturing a high purity chemicals giving. I created a robust design that was capable of being utilized for producing multiple organic acids.Initially, I modified the high purity water distribution system to store large volumes of water for later use in manufacturing while preventing bacterial growth and continually increasing chemical purity.I then implemented an ion exchange process that purified the organic acid solutions. I optimized material mixtures, resin mixture, blender RPM, flow rates, and system design to produce a system for best production. This allowed for a wider range of raw material control while continuing to produce a high quality final product.
