I started small construction projects with my neighbor at 12 years old working summers with him and it became a bit of a passion for me. There is something about the entire process that works for me...to start from nothing and work towards the finished product, a tangible thing and knowing that so many will see what you have accomplished for years to come is just a wonderful thing for me. I am very demanding and expectant of quality, for with quality comes recognition of a job well done. My experience includes General Construction as well as CM@Risk and Lean Construction. I completed a 4 year Carpenter Apprenticeship through the Carpenters, Joiners, Millwrights and Apprentices of America. I then completed an additional 6 years of training to become a Master Carpenter and Millwright. The majority of my experience has been with Commercial Construction although I have quite a lot in Residential also. I am not an Electrician, but my father was an electrician for 40 years, so I am a pretty good electrician. I am also not a Plumber, but 39 years ago I married a plumbers daughter....so, I am a pretty good plumber and I truly feel that these additional skills have helped me tremendously throughout my career. I have experience in ground up construction with structural steel buildings as well as wood framed buildings.
