CurrentGrand Coulee Dam is the largest producer of quintessentially green, renewable energy in all of North America. As the first and largest reservoir and dam on the Columbia River in the United States, it stands as the backbone of the Federal Columbia River Power System. Grand Coulee Dam provides power, irrigation water, flood control, and recreational opportunities for a multitude of Americans in Washington and the greater Northwestern United States.I am proud to serve as a Mechanical Engineer at Grand Coulee holding an historical position that has been handed down by many generations of Professional Engineers. Being part of a Team that provides Americans electric power that is produced from the cleanest renewable resource is both an honor and a privilege.
