Tasked with engineering a turn-around of the company and then selling or refinancing Algomi (founded in 2012 and backed by investment from Lakestar, Euronext, AllianceBernstein and S&P Global). Successfully sold Algomi to BGC Partners.

Primary responsibility is to oversee business operations for Europe reporting directly to CEO. Focus is on further growing the European business, by working with the MarketAxess and Trax teams to continue delivering innovative trading, data and post-trade solutions that help clients meet the challenges of the evolving regulatory landscape.

Moved from Co-Head of Credit Sales to run CEE Trading, June 1, 2013. Responsible for oversight of EM trading, which encompassed Credit, Rates, FX, STIRT and Structured Products businesses. Tasked with over-hauling the business and making it into a client-centric trading business, managing the risk and increasing revenue. • Doubled trading volumes in difficult markets without negative change in PnL (2014).• Subsequently built Credit Trading portion of business into profitability for the first time within Markets division (2015). • Successfully expanded Rates business despite limitations in counterparty access.• Utilized e-platforms to improve client hit ratios and increase traded volumes through competitive tiered pricing. • Left business on track for record revenues across all business lines in CEE Trading.

Started independent consulting effort (Nov ’08) which was ultimately included into BroadStreet where I was one of two founding partners of the London office (beginning in June ‘09) of a New York based financial services boutique which was established in 2000. The firm had asset management, proprietary trading and advisory businesses. Responsibilities and focus includes:• Trade origination and transactional opportunity development within the structured credit space.• Capital raising, and subsequent portfolio management responsibility, for new fund focused on the distressed asset backed securities market, with particular emphasis on the US RMBS and US CMBS products.
