Developed IoT agent for blood vessel ultrasound (IVUS) imaging Windows tablet device to perform collection of diagnostic logs, receive targeted software updates and to allow management of the device remotely using a Software AG Cumulocity IoT platform system. IoT agent development was done in C# and C++ using MQTT and HTTPS REST interfaces. Device interacted with DigiCert for certificate acquisition for mutual device authentication and CloudFront AWS for file transfers.

Medtronic Pathway Connect and Remote Support Team, Digital Health Group, Global ITDeveloped and managed cloud-based IoT platform solution built on PTC ThingWorx to service remote devices in various Medtronic businesses. Development was done in ThingWorx proprietary development environment with front end GUI “mashups”, JavaScript web services, Postgres SQL database and AWS Linux server management. I was involved in all aspects of development: security risk analysis, requirements, design, development, code review, defect tracking and release management to different environments. Developed a SQL Server database and Python tools to import exported XML code entities to analyze permission configurations, differences between environments, changes made since last release, etc.

Developed applications and processes for managing patient and product information using SalesForce. This included GDPR data protection mechanisms to limit access patient data by a user’s privacy region. Developed mechanisms to track patient privacy decisions, removing collection of and access to patient data by clinic and patient settings.
