I recently designed and delivered a new payments platform for a global financial services company. The solution was scalable and highly available 24/7 and was capable of supporting multiple different payment channels and customisable to meet the local requirements of the payment service providers and the various geographies that we operated in to ensure a frictionless deposit experience to allow the customer to start trading immediately.As a highly experienced Enterprise Architect, I have created architecture visions for companies that have successfully met both their current and future business needs. I am a highly driven and self-managing individual with extensive experience within organisations that demand highly reliable and low latency technology solutions. I have a pragmatic approach to work and believe that collaboration and communication is the key to success. I have utilised my expertise to build trusted relationships, enabling me to act as the conduit that brings technology and business together into the best solution possible.I have a passion for delivering solutions that are right for the business, both in terms of requirement fulfilment and minimum time to delivery. These solutions are delivered with scalability at their core, not just in terms of pure technology capacity, but also the flexibility to easily adapt to the business's future needs. I have delivered solutions that have a proven architecture and therefore could be adjusted to support the inevitable pivots required to respond to a changing operating environment.My preference is to take a lean approach to development, using the rapid delivery of functionality to the user and then leveraging a fast feedback loop to gather data to support the decision as to what is the most valuable area to focus our attention on next.This epitomises my desire to provide the best user experience as this is what ensures both company and personal success.
