• Responsible for the mechanical design/drafting of water treatment process equipment including, but not limited to, skid frames, pipe routing, major component placement, bill of materials and component design development.• Working independently as a member of a product development team.• Perform complex drafting tasks to prepare drawings of intricately designed parts and assemblies.• Generate multiple views of equipment in 3D models and 2D manufacturing using Solidworks and AutoCAD.• Handling responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the engineering department.• Creating final drawings indicating dimensions of parts, qualities of materials to be used, load capacities, etc.• Check the work of other designers and drafters as needed.• Initiate engineering change notices when required.
