General Counsel of Symphony Communications• Manage Symphony's legal function• Provide timely and pragmatic legal solutions that empower Symphony’s business units to meet their goals in an effective and compliant manner • Support all areas of the business, including Sales, Operations, Engineering, Security, Human Resources, Marketing and Regulatory• Areas of focus include corporate transactions and commercial negotiations, data privacy, cybersecurity, software licensing, intellectual property, technology and encryption, financial services regulation, compliance, corporate finance, corporate governance, real estate and employment

• Core member of team responsible for establishing and maintaining ICAP’s regulated U.S. and U.K. swap execution facilities (“SEF”) • Primary day-to-day counsel to both ICAP SEFs as well as ICAP’s U.S. BrokerTec and EBS electronic trading platforms for fixed income and foreign exchange• Support ICAP’s equity derivatives, fixed income, swaps, futures and other financial product businesses• Draft, review, negotiate and structure hundreds of customer, independent vendor and confidentiality agreements for, among other purposes, access to and use of various proprietary electronic and hybrid trading platforms for the fixed income and equity markets• Negotiate master agreements relating to U.S. treasury repurchase transactions and stock loan transactions• Establish and facilitate prime brokerage arrangements in the areas of fixed income, equities and derivatives • Advise the business on various matters pertaining to broker-dealer and securities regulation, clearing, trading compliance and similar issues • Work closely with the compliance department in addressing FINRA and SEC regulatory matters• Collaborate with senior management in structuring and effecting strategic initiatives, as well as corporate finance and restructuring activities worldwide, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures• Draft, negotiate and structure market data agreements, software licensing and maintenance agreements, technology and other agreements related to day-to-day operations or strategic initiatives• Manage corporate governance and secretarial function for all of ICAP’s Americas legal entities, including drafting of meeting minutes, preparation of state and local doing business and tax filings and facilitating compliance with similar registration and licensing requirements
