Operations Manager
CurrentScott is a front-line member of the team, having been involved with work on a diverse range of NRG projects in all roles (Electrician, Site Supervisor, Project Manager, Design manager, Operations Manager) which have included a large range of differing styles of projects and environments / industries ranging from high-rise buildings, airports, schools, mining, Data Centres and off grid power / Solar installations to name a few. Encountering operational environments, live mine sites, and installation of self-sufficient technology for remote monitoring, Scott’s role as an Operations Manager has involved varied works and adaptability to situations. Scott’s greatest achievement to date was the delivery of the award-winning Pulse Data Centre. The project had many challenges due to the complexity of design and the need for tri-redundancy within the electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Throughout the project, Scott and the NRG team faced issues of delivery of equipment and alterations to design to make a seamless installation process on time and budget. The original Scope changed dramatically to enhance the opportunity for different potential clients to find this data centre more suitable to the consumers’ needs, which added more design changes throughout an aggressive construction program. Since completing this project and entering his new role as Operations manager, Scott has helped guide teams to similar achievements across the NRG business.
