I was also brought into the PROCARDIS project, a joint collaborative study co-ordinated at Oxford, involving academic groups from the UK, Sweden, Italy and Germany, as well as industry partners AstraZeneca and Oxagen. The project involved a genome-wide scan to identify susceptibility loci in precocious coronary artery disease. -
