o Completing audits for diverse clients from charities to listed clients.o Completing a risk analysis based on my knowledge of the business, prior year figures and current year draft financials. o Organising planning meetings with the partners, managers and other members of the audit team to ensure all the risks and the required audit approach is agreed. o Planning the audit testing to ensure the higher risk areas are appropriately tested. o Managing an audit team; through assigning audit testing according to the team member’s ability/experience, reviewing their work to ensure the assigned task was suitably concluded.o Teaching / developing juniors. o Completing periodical appraisal of the junior’s work and progression: offering constructive criticism to ensure their continued development. o Drafting statutory accounts and preparation of consolidated accounts in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS). o Communicating weaknesses in the clients systems and controls through the management letter.

o Bank reconciliations o Assisting with the production of the monthly Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Accounts.o Reports for management, including monthly accounts commentary.o Liaised with affiliates regarding inter-company accounting and reducing outstanding debts.o Performed a review of the Grant of Authority system; o Assisted management with preparations for both financial and SOX audits.
