I specialize in coordinating everything from large building projects such as the new Cambria Hotel in Charleston, SC, to the smaller jobs such as a homeowner's guest pool house in their backyard. My main goal everyday is to be the liaison between my customers and my salesmen to ensure a fluid ordering process and ultimate customer satisfaction.Main components of my job include (but are not limited to): customer service, salesman support, product knowledge, scheduling, job phase coordination, inventory maintenance, special ordering of non-stock material, distribution support, and maintaining beneficial relationships with and between salesmen, customers, and vendors. My experience in distribution and inside sales at Buck Lumber has given me hands on experience and familiarity with the following building materials: Fiber Cement trim and siding (James Hardie, Nichiha, Plycem); other similar composite trims (Boral, Allura); PVC trims (Azek, Verstex, Intex); Composite Decking (Azek, Trex, Moisture Shield, Aeratis); Flood Vents (Smart Vents, Flood Flaps); bolts and fasteners; marine lumber for decks, pierheads, and seawalls (pilings, critical structure lumber, marine splash); treated lumber; ALL framing lumber (SYP, spruce studs, Framer Series, sheathing); interior and exterior wood trim and mouldings; plywood, OSB, and subfloor (Advantech, Dry-Guard, Dry-Ply); engineered wood products (LVL's, Parallams, Glulams, PSL's); exterior wood decking and porch boards; exterior railing systems (Atlantis Cable Rail, Intex, Viewrail, Nautilus rail system); screened porch finishes (Screen Eze, Screen Tite, PGT, Phifer); as well as a variety of other products that allow customers to put their own personal touch on their home to make it special.
