I managed the planning department on an aircraft maintenance and retrofit contract including the creation and management of servicing schedule and budgets, paperwork control and compliance and servicing reporting requirements. I conducted daily management of C130 J model aircraft P5 servicings running simultaneously at the new Canberra maintenance facility. This included scheduled servicing tasks, modifications and unscheduled repairs to a number of aircraft on a tight program budget and duration. I produced all required reports including the initial scoping documents, conducted the induction brief including minutes and action items, a 30-day TMS analysis, weekly status reports and an end of servicing report… Show more I conducted daily management of C130 J model aircraft P5 servicings running simultaneously at the new Canberra maintenance facility. This included scheduled servicing tasks, modifications and unscheduled repairs to a number of aircraft on a tight program budget and duration. I produced all required reports including the initial scoping documents, conducted the induction brief including minutes and action items, a 30-day TMS analysis, weekly status reports and an end of servicing report on completion. I co-ordinated several trade groups to carry out the servicing in the most efficient manner whilst adhering to budget and schedule requirements. I had overall responsibility for the efficient delivery and transport of aircraft spares, tooling and paperwork and any correspondence between the Canberra facility and our headquarters in Sydney. I was directly responsible for the planning and acquisition of contract labour on an as required basis whilst maintaining servicing budgets and milestones.Key achievements - Consistently met and exceeded servicing budget targets resulting in efficient delivery of completed serviceable aircraft, - Established a satellite site for aircraft maintenance including facility set up, logistics activities, maintenance scheduling and planning and personnel development and management and created a site that consistently met and exceeded all servicing milestones and budget targets. Carried out depot level servicing's along with operational maintenance on C130 E&H model aircraft. Responsibilities included engine and airframe maintenance along with engine running qualifications.
